Steph's fascination with yarn began in 2005. It started as a hobby that took over her living room and quickly snowballed into a full-time endeavor.

Steph's love of spinning expanded into a passion for carding. The first time she used a drum carder she thought, "This is my medium!" Steph's amazing art batts for handspinners were Loop's signature product for several years.

in 2009, Steph relocated to a huge studio in a pre-Civil War textile mill turned art complex. She invested in a Mini Mill carding machine and invented her signature product for spinners - "BULLSEYE BUMPS." These bundles of handspinning joy consist of self-striping roving wound into a center-pull bump. Steph makes each Bullseye Bump herself. She lets her instincts dictate the color combinations on the fly, so each one is truly unique.

YIN YANG

In 2018, Steph's fascination with carding and spinning took on a new dimension. With over a decade in the fiber business, Loop was a brand well-known to handspinners. But Steph wanted to create a unique product that knitters could enjoy.
