INFLORESCENCE SWEATER KIT

This listing is for the Inflorescence Sweater Kit consisting of YIN YANG fingering weight yarn.  Select your size from the size chart and the color combination you prefer from the swatches (MC is main color and CC is contrast color).

Your kit will contain the correct number of skeins for your size in the colors corresponding to the swatch you select.  Note that the pattern is not included.  See the Where to Get the Pattern tab for the pattern link.

Why We Chose this Pattern:

The Inflorescence sweater was designed by Teti Lutsak.  Our sample is a size 3 and is knit in YIN YANG fingering weight using the following colorways: MC: Wait and CC: See.

This pattern is simply gorgeous. We love how the design detail on the yoke, cuff, and hem is created with floats that appear on the outside of the sweater. We think it turned out amazing in our inverted marled colorways.  We offer this kit in several beautiful colorway combinations.

PATTERN SIZING NOTE:

PATTERN DETAILS:

In the pattern preview on Ravelry, the designer writes that she sees this design as a bouquet of dried flowers. “Inflorescence” is a botanical term for a group of flowers arranged on a stem.

Worked top down seamless in the round, the round yoke pullover is decorated with a stranded colorwork floral pattern with floats on the right side around the yoke, an asymmetric hem and cuffs. 

Needles and Gauge:

20 sts and 28 rows in 10 cm (4 in) measured over stockinette stitch in the round after blocking on 3.5 mm (US 4) needles. 

Same or 1-2 sts smaller gauge for the colorwork is required. Use a bigger size needle for the colorwork if necessary. Because of the floats the colorwork is not as stretchy as you might expect.
