YIN YANG is Loop Fiber Studio’s signature yarn. It is a unique yarn designed in pairs of inverted colorways. It contains 100% scrumptious extra-fine merino.  Non superwash.  We think you’ll love it!

The YIN YANG yarn collection is unusual because it is designed in pairs of inverted marled colorways. In each pair, the two colorways contain the same two solid colors, but in opposite proportions. When used together in the same project, the shared colors play off each other beautifully, creating a unique visual affect.

Much like the Yin Yang symbol, one colorway has a predominance of one color with just a hint of the other, while the inverted colorway uses the same two colors in reverse. 

Bullseye Bumps are a Loop Fiber Studio signature creation made specifically for hand spinners. They consist of self-striping roving, wound into a center-pull bump. The fiber is super soft extra-fine merino, sometimes blended with other goodies. The fiber preparation is meticulous, requires no pre-drafting, and is an absolute pleasure to spin. 

No. Loop is not a yarn shop. We are a maker, not a reseller. Our products can be found in select yarn shops.

We do! When you finish shopping and are checking out, you will be given shipping options based on your location. Please note that we are legally obliged to fill out the customs form accurately.  We cannot mark the shipment as a gift.

Yes! You can find our upcoming shows ands festivals here.

Normally we ship within 1-3 business days. Please understand that there may be an increased lead time when we are away at festivals and shows. When this is the case, we will put an announcement in the banner at the top of the homepage.

When your order ships, you will receive an email confirming the shipment went out and providing you with a tracking number. We are not responsible for the package once it is in the hands of USPS or UPS. Please select a safe and secure shipping address.

We accept returns within 14 days of receiving your order. Please note that we only accept returns on unused products in the original condition and in the original packaging. Should you choose to return all or part of your order, you will be responsible for shipping costs. Once the item is received, your refund will be processed. To start a return, send us an email at info@loopfiberstudio.com. Please remember to include your order number.

We do not have the ability to process exchanges. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and make a separate purchase for the new item.

We do our best. Please note that color varies on every computer monitor.

With YIN YANG yarn, you do not need to be concerned about dye lots. Unlike hand dyed yarns, YIN YANG Yarn fiber is pre-dyed to very exacting standards before it is spun into yarn. This ensures that the color match is very nearly perfect from one dye batch to another.

We spin our yarn at a very small "mini" mill and the process involves as much work by hand as by machine. The resulting yarn is truly special but sometimes there are small imperfections, much like handspun yarn. We think this is part of the charm and beauty of our craft. Rest assured that we do have very high quality standards and we check each skein before labeling. Nonetheless an occasional "second" quality skein slips by. Should you receive a skein that you think is too irregular, please contact us and we will make it right. We want you to be happy!
