CLASSIC RAGLAN SWEATER KIT

This listing is for the Classic Raglan Sweater Kit consisting of YIN YANG worsted weight yarn.  Select your size from the size chart and the color combination you prefer from the swatches (CC1 is contrast color 1, CC2 is contrast color 2 and CC3 is contrast color 3).  

Your kit will contain the correct number of skeins for your size in the colors corresponding to the swatch you select.  Note that the pattern is not included.  See the Where to Get the Pattern tab for the pattern link.

Why We Chose this Pattern:

The Classic Raglan Pullover was designed by Jane Richmond.  Our sample is a size large and is knit in color blocks, using YIN YANG worsted weight in the following colorways:  CC1: A Hard Place, CC2: Between a Rock, CC3: Soot (one of our solid colors).

This sample is a perfect example of how awesome YIN YANG inverted colorways look color-blocked.  It also features one of the newest additions to our worsted weight offerings - solid colors!  We love the result of combining YIN YANG inverted colorways with our coordinating solids.

PATTERN DETAILS:

This classic raglan pullover is knit from the top down and in the round. It is designed with a crew neck and 4 inches of positive ease for a comfortable, relaxed fit.

Needles:

US 7 / 4.5 mm circ, 32” or 40” (for body)
US 7 / 4.5 mm dpns or long circ for magic loop (for sleeves)
US 6 / 4 mm circ, 24” (for neckband) and 32” (for hem)
US 6 / 4 mm dpns or long circ for magic loop (for cuffs)

Gauge: 

18 sts and 25 rnds = 4”/10cm in St st on larger needles (blocked + in the rnd)

About Our Modifications:

Our sample follows the pattern.  The only modification is that we color-blocked using three colorways.  After you purchase this sweater kit, you will receive a follow up email from Loop Fiber Studio (usually within several minutes) with a link to project details about our modifications.
