STREAMERS SWEATER KIT

This listing is for the Streamers Sweater Kit consisting of YIN YANG worsted weight yarn.  Select your size from the size chart and the color combination you prefer from the swatches (CC1 is contrast color 1, CC2 is contrast color 2, CC3 is contrast color 3 and CC4 is contrast color 4).  

Your kit will contain the correct number of skeins for your size in the colors corresponding to the swatch you select.  Note that the pattern is not included.  See the Where to Get the Pattern tab for the pattern link.

Why We Chose this Pattern:

James Watts is the designer of the Streamers Sweater.  We knit our sample in colorways Wait (CC1), See (CC2), Peace (CC3), and Quiet (CC4). All four colorways are worsted weight.

The version of this sweater we chose includes four colorways in a striping pattern.  The color palette we chose consists of purple hues and seafoam green. We think it’s just beautiful.

PATTERN SIZING NOTE:

Find your size using the "Size Guide" above (located directly under the swatches).

PATTERN DETAILS:

Streamers is worked flat, from side to side in four pieces, then seamed. The collar, cuffs, and hem are picked up and worked in the round.

Note that there a total of 15 (17, 18, 20, 21, 23, 24, 26, 27) stripes on the front and back. Colors may be used in any order or frequency.

Needles: 

US 6 (4.0 mm) knitting needles

US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needles - 40 cm./16” length

And needles suitable for working small circumferences in the round.

Gauge: 

20 sts and 24 rows = 4” in stockinette on size US 6 needles (after blocking)

*Note: Because this pattern was first published in Pom Pom Magazine, it cannot be purchased separate from that issue. After one year from the date of publication, the designer can sell the pattern separately. We were unaware of this at the time we created our shop sample. We apologize as this makes purchasing this particular pattern more costly than the patterns for all our other sweater samples.
